This past week it jumped over "Finding Nemo" with a worldwide gross of $955.7 million.The Walt Disney Animation Studios Pictures movie is on track to hit $1 billion worldwide. It is the 5th highest grossing overseas animated release of all-time, according to Boxoffice.
In the global box office arena, the movie is 23rd among the all-time earners.
It's final premiere is in Japan on March 15.
