New this week at the Disney Store is a collection of melamine table wear, including plates, bowls and serving dishes, featuring art from vintage Disneyland and Disney World maps.
Start with plates featuring each of the four original lands of the Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland. Each plate has a contrast color on the back -- for instance, the back of the Fantasyland plate is turquoise. The plates are available in two sizes: 7 inches ($4.95 each) and 8 inches ($6.95 each).
If you're looking for a larger plate, there's an 11-inch plate ($6.95) featuring a collage of images from the same vintage maps.
If a nice gazpacho is your thing during the summer, there's a matching bowl, about 5 inches in diameter ($4.95). As a way to encourage the kids to finish the last drop, you can find the castle in the bottom of the bowl.
If you'd like just one piece to bring a little magic to the table, there's also an appetizer serving set ($29.95) perfect for serving dips for the crowd. Although this image only shows the Fantasyland side, each bowl has one land on each side.
